If you are planning to do roof surveys, there are only a couple of things that you need to do and have. First, you need to have excellent photography skills. This way, you would be able to come up with high quality photographs of the roof and you can provide your clients a better view of the roof from an aerial view. Aside from being knowledgeable in photography, you also need to have a reliable camera. This is your main gadget so it would be better to invest on a really good one so you do not compromise the quality of your work with poor equipment. But aside from this, you also need to have sturdy scaffolding that you will use to reach an elevated area. Make sure that it can carry your weight so you do not run the risk of falling to the ground all the way from the rooftop.
